How Long should I Take Dr. Wilson’s Adrenal Fatigue Program?

If you are following the Severe version of Dr. Wilson’s Programs for Adrenal Fatigue and Stress we suggest you continue for a minimum of 6 months to 2 years before starting the supplement reduction schedule outlined below. If you are following his Moderate or Mild program, you can begin cutting back gradually once you have been feeling good for at least 6 weeks straight.

Lifestyle is an important factor in adrenal health and stress hardiness. If your life is stressful and other aspects of your lifestyle, like diet and sleep habits, do not optimally support strong adrenal function, we suggest you continue to use Dr. Wilson’s program while your life has significant stress. Use how you feel as a guide to when you might be ready to begin this reduction schedule – there is no need to rush.
We recommend using the directions below to achieve optimal results as you cut back. You will be reducing or eliminating products one at a time, in the order given below. After each reduction, maintain the same amounts of everything else you are still taking and continue on the reduced regimen for 3 weeks before proceeding to the next step.
Remember that each time you reduce or eliminate a supplement, you should continue to feel good and maintain your energy. If not, go back one step and stay there for 3 more weeks before trying again. It helps to note the time of day when you feel lowest and reintroduce the supplements that preceded that time by about 2 hours. For example, if your low is between 2:30 and 4.00 pm, reintroduce the noon supplements you have eliminated.
If you feel like you are slipping back after being off the entire program for several weeks, we suggest you use the Mild program for about 3 months to give your adrenals additional support before trying the reduction program again.
Our goal is that at some point you will be able to stop taking these supplements regularly and still maintain optimum results. This is a great day and we celebrate your success!
 
Dr Wilson’s Adrenal Fatigue Supplement Reduction Schedule:
1.     Eliminate the 2:30 tablet
2.     If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate 1 morning tablet
3.     If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the noon tablet
4.     If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the bedtime tablet
5.     If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the remaining morning tablet
6.     If you begin to experience a need for more support for energy, mood or concentration, it may help to continue taking 1 or 2 Super Adrenal Stress Formula a day for as long as desired.
 
7.     If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the 2:30 drops in the Severe program, or the noon drops in the Moderate program
8.     If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the morning drops
9.     If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the noon drops in the Severe program
10. If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the bedtime drops
11. If you begin to experience a need for more support for calmness, steady energy, or hormonal balance, it may help to continue taking 10-15 drops of Herbal Adrenal Support Formula once or twice a dayfor as long as desired.
 
3 – Adrenal C Formula and Magnesium
12. If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the 2:30 Adrenal C Formula and magnesium tablets  in the Severe and Moderate programs or the noon ones in the Mild program
13. People using the Mild program, continue taking 1 Adrenal C Formula and 1 magnesium, morning and night, indefinitely.
14. If you are using the Severe or Moderate program and after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate 1 morning Adrenal C Formula. Continue for 3 weeks with this regimen.
15. If you are using the Severe or Moderate program and after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate 1 noon Adrenal C Formula and the noon magnesium. Continue for 3 weeks with this regimen.
16. People using the Moderate program, continue taking 1 Adrenal C Formula and 1 magnesium, morning and night, indefinitely.
17. If you are using the Severe program and after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the other noon Adrenal C Formula.
18. People using the Severe program, continue taking 1 Adrenal C Formula and 1 magnesium, morning and night, indefinitely.
 
19. Adrenal Rebuilder is the last supplement to be reduced.
20. Eliminate the 2:30 tablet
21. If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate 1 morning tablet
22. If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the noon tablet
23. If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the bedtime tablet
24. If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the remaining morning tablet
25. If after 3 weeks you still feel fine, eliminate the remaining bedtime tablet
26. If you begin to experience a need for more support for restful sleep, it may help to take 15 drops of Herbal Adrenal Support Formula, 2Adrenal Rebuilder and 400mg magnesium,half-an-hour before bed for as long as desired.

I began Dr Wilsons severe adrenal fatigue programme 3 weeks ago today. Since then my health
general demeanour etc has improved so much that I am still absorbing just how well I am feeling. I knew I was feeling totally burnt out but didn’t understand why! I have recommended 3 people since my first visit to my marvellous naturopath as I want to spread the word that “you too can feel like living again!” Thanks so much Dr. Wilson.

That is exactly what I have heard from the hundreds of patients I have started on Dr. Wilson’s unique Adrenal Fatigue Program. There is no other program like it, and I have NEVER had the kind of amazing feedback from patients who were tired and placed on other programs the way I do once they start on Dr. Wilson’s. The original is the best.
